These Seller Terms apply when you sell digital products on Synthosy. They supplement our general Terms of Service and should be read alongside them. By listing a product, you agree to these terms.
To sell on Synthosy you must: be at least 18 years old; complete our seller onboarding process; connect a valid Stripe account for payouts; and comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
You may be an individual seller or represent a business. If representing a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
By listing a product, you warrant that you: own or are licensed to sell the content; have the right to grant the licence to buyers; have accurately described the product; and have complied with our Acceptable Use Policy.
All listings are subject to review and approval before going live. We may decline or remove listings that do not meet our standards, with or without explanation, at our sole discretion.
Synthosy charges a 6% platform fee on each completed sale, calculated on the gross sale price and deducted before payout.
You may optionally promote your listing for an additional 4% promotion fee, charged only during the promotion period and deducted from your payout.
There is no listing fee. You only pay when you make a sale.
Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect. You must maintain an active, verified Stripe account to receive payments. Stripe's terms apply to the payout process.
Payout timing is subject to Stripe's standard payout schedule, typically 2-7 business days after a completed sale. Synthosy is not responsible for delays caused by Stripe or your bank.
In the event of a successful buyer dispute or chargeback, the corresponding amount may be deducted from future payouts.
You retain ownership of your content. By listing on Synthosy, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to display and promote your listing on the Platform.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights. Synthosy will respond promptly to valid IP infringement notices.
You are responsible for declaring and paying any taxes on your income from sales on Synthosy, including VAT where applicable. If you are VAT-registered, you must include this in your listing prices.
Synthosy may be required to collect and remit VAT on digital services sold to UK and EU consumers where Synthosy is deemed the supplier under applicable deemed supplier rules.
Buyers may raise disputes within 14 days of purchase. You will be notified of any dispute and given the opportunity to respond. Synthosy's decision in disputes is final at the platform level.
We may issue refunds to buyers at our discretion where a product is materially misdescribed or defective. Any refunded amount will be deducted from your pending or future payouts.
We may suspend or terminate your seller account if you: violate these terms or our policies; receive an excessive number of disputes or chargebacks; engage in fraudulent activity; or fail to maintain a valid Stripe account.
Any pending payouts for legitimate completed sales will still be processed following termination, subject to any outstanding disputes.
The Founding Seller Programme is a limited promotional offer open to the first 50 sellers who complete Stripe Connect onboarding. Founding spots are claimed automatically in order of onboarding completion, and the programme closes once 50 spots have been claimed.
Eligible founding sellers receive: (a) a Founding Seller badge displayed on their storefront and listings; (b) free listing promotion, meaning the 4% promotion fee is waived for the lifetime of the account while it remains active and in good standing; and (c) the Pro Seller subscription at 50% of the standard price for 12 months from the date the founding spot is claimed, after which the standard Pro price applies automatically.
Founding perks do not reduce the 6% platform fee or any Stripe processing fees, which continue to apply to all sales. The free promotion benefit is intended for ordinary use; Synthosy reserves the right to limit or withdraw it where it is abused or used in a manner inconsistent with normal selling activity.
Founding status and its perks are personal to the account, non-transferable, and offered at Synthosy's sole discretion. We may modify, suspend, or end the Founding Seller Programme at any time, and may revoke founding status and its perks where a seller violates these terms, engages in fraud, has their account suspended or terminated, or closes their account. References to benefits provided “for life” mean for the lifetime of the active account in good standing and do not survive account closure or termination.
