Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs what content may be listed and what behaviour is permitted on Synthosy. It applies to all users — buyers, sellers, and visitors. Violations may result in listing removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.

2. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on Synthosy:

• Content that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property right
• Content stolen or scraped from other sellers or platforms without authorisation
• Malware, viruses, spyware, keyloggers, or any code designed to cause harm
• Content designed to facilitate illegal activity, fraud, or deception
• Hate speech, content that promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Sexual content, pornographic material, or content sexualising minors
• Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm
• Personal data of third parties without their consent
• Content that impersonates another person, company, or brand
• Fake reviews, fake sales, or other deceptive practices
• AI-generated content falsely described as human-created where that distinction is material
• Prompt injection attacks or jailbreak prompts designed to circumvent AI safety measures

3. Seller Obligations

Sellers must: accurately describe all listings; own or have the right to sell all listed content; respond to buyer queries within a reasonable time; and not manipulate reviews or ratings.

Sellers must not list free or publicly available content as paid products without substantial added value.

4. Buyer Obligations

Buyers must use purchased content in accordance with the licence granted. Buyers must not redistribute, resell, or share purchased digital products without the seller's explicit written permission.

5. Reporting Violations

You can report content that violates this policy using the Report button on any listing, or by emailing hello@synthosy.com. We review all reports and will act within 5 business days.

6. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in: content removal; temporary account suspension; permanent account termination; and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

Synthosy's decisions on policy violations are final at the platform level. They do not affect your statutory rights.
